| Quarter | Q4 April – June |
| Are you on track for the grant deliverables? | Yes |
| What challenges are you having in undertaking the activities, and will you be able to get it on track by the end of the grant term (June 30)? | We believe the objectives for the Local Colors Festival were met in terms of fostering an appreciation for different cultures. The event was quite successful and very well attended. Observing the event throughout the day, it was obvious that people were enjoying themselves while experiencing different cultures through performances, food, artisan crafts, and displays. However, our survey return fell significantly below what was projected. Our biggest challenge is having enough volunteers in the afternoon, getting the right volunteers who can approach attendees and have attendees respond to the survey. We simply did not have adequate volunteer coverage this year for surveys. We are examining ways to strengthen our volunteer leadership team so that we meet our projections for returns. Though we did not receive the surveys that we projected, we did receive very positive feedback through multiple channels, from participants and attendees alike. |
