Services provided (Project Title / Short Description)Serve as the Training Coordinator for the City of Roanoke's 2024-25 Resident Artist Program. This invoice covers the period 1 September, 2024 through 28 February 2025.
Services provided (details of agreement)

Guide and support artists in accessing and growing from training opportunities including a series of Story Circle trainings and implementation activities.

Serve as a liaison alongside the arts and culture coordinator with training consultants, communicating regularly with the arts and culture coordinator.

Work to collectively spread a community spirit of collaborative arts-based renewal and possibility through training activities.

Lead the tracking and evaluation of training outcomes and progress.

Participate, based on availability, in the weekly Arts Connect Tuesdays community- and network-building conversations for artists and residents as we build and reinforce a learning community together.

Provide the City with resources for an annual written report by June 30, 2025 to Douglas Jackson at douglas.jackson@RoanokeVa.gov or via online form to include: 1) Project details and outcomes, 2) Photographs pertaining to projects or services; and 3) Description of professional, organizational, and community growth experienced as a result of the project. Complete any form or report that the City may develop in the future and to provide any data, performance measures, outcomes, etc., to the City or to any party contracted by the City to collect such information.

Acknowledge the “City of Roanoke Artist in Residence” role in media releases or communications as being “Funded by the City of Roanoke and the National Endowment for the Arts through the Roanoke Arts Commission.”
Funds will be returned by the artist on a prorated basis if the artist does not fulfill the obligations.

A second invoice will be submitted on 1 March, 2025
