Embroidered Memories

Roanoke Historical Society | roanokehistory.org

In this workshop with the Roanoke History Museum, bring neighbors together to embroider and embellish a photograph. It can be a cherished family photograph or a found photograph—one with no names, locations, or personal meanings. Learn the importance of preserving and labeling photographs while reminiscing and creating new memories in the process. Bring your own photograph to embroider, or use one of ours! The Roanoke History Museum will provide embroidery supplies and found photographs for the project.

Participants: Five to 25
Ages: All
Value: $200.00
Requirements: Please provide a room with tables and chairs. All embroidery supplies will be provided by the Roanoke History Museum.
