I’m estimating on numbers here, but there happened to be a kid’s birthday party happening at the same time as our event, so a ton of kids were able to take advantage of the face painting. I think that was the best part, so many kids were thrilled to be able to have the face painting done.

We’re still learning how to get successful events off the ground as a neighborhood association, so I think we need to do a better job going forward of getting things finalized and lined up earlier on. By the time we were ready to really start promoting the event, I think it was too late for a lot of families to make it. Still, we had a very fun time and appreciate Katherine being there!
