We had some cancelations for the pop up market but decided to go ahead with it and hoped folks would catch on and join us as the day went on. We did have one person who was the perfect fit with beautiful artwork that she had never displayed. She was delighted to have the chance to show her work and received a lot of positive feed back.

Every one who come by was interested in learning more about the arts connect project and i was asked to come back in the fall, when they would have more time to promote the event. I think everyone who came and pitched in had a good time in the shade along the river, playing games and winning medals. It was an easy going start to the season,and we all learned about what the city could provide in the block party supplies which was a big help for the success of the day.
