I learned that people, especially children love drums. I had no lack of volunteers to sit in and drum with us. I’m proud of how all kinds and all level skills of drummers were able to create one collective sound that other attendees wanted to dance to. It truly was a collaborative effort.

I would love for them to continue drumming together, whether by classes or just setting a day aside to gather and jam together. All ages. The djembe doesn’t discriminate.
