Embroidered Memories was a wonderful experience, everyone who attended has expressed how much they enjoyed being a part of the event. The participants were able to learn about the history of some photographs and share in the memories of people and places they have had the joy in experiencing over the years. They learned different stiches and ways to really add their own personal enhancements to photographs and postcards. What made me most proud was the willingness of the group to help each other learn new stitches when some were struggling. My favorite part was hearing the stories and laughs people shared.

The next step for the neighborhood in building engagement and momentum is to set a community goal to work together towards. Such as creating a welcome to the neighborhood plan for new residence or setting a goal for the number of participants from each building in each event.
