Please describe the outcomes of your activity. What did you learn? What made you the most proud of the effort?

I used an ancestor meditation this time and folks said it really helped them think more deeply about the words they would assign to the stones. The concept of “if your ancestor left you a stone, what would it say?”, resonated. I remembered to say that not only are you assigning words, but you are also making an art piece. The more intricate and thoughtful, the more one wants the stone. The result was the most beautiful stones yet! These neighbors take a weekly walk and they plan to distribute the stones then.
I’m most proud of taking the stones one step further by showing how to photograph, then turn the stone into an emoji sticker….for passing kindness around virtually!

From your perspective, what would be a good next step for the neighborhood in building engagement and momentom?

I think this neighborhood plans to partake of the Baroque music engagement. I think they need to look toward late Fall or early Spring for a small block party to further engage beyond their current number.
