Please describe the outcomes of your activity. What did you learn? What made you the most proud of the effort? | Jon was leading residents in painting river rocks in jeweled tones. It was fun to look at the rocks I brought and discerning the same tones. Though one would call the stones “grey”, further inspection revealed the purple, ochre, green and pink tones.
The ancestor prompt I use resonated with this group. “It is perfectly possible to come upon a stone your ancestor once held! If it had a message, what ancestral wisdom would be given to you?” One woman was taking a break from moving from one house to another. She said, “They would tell me to ‘CHILL!’” We had a good laugh on that.
