The Science Museum experienced severe flooding of our facility in September, which resulted in our closure throughout the month. No school groups were able to attend our museum, but we were able continue our LAB, Jr. Pre-K program and outreach services to students in the region. However, much of our operations were very limited and impacted by water damage. Current service numbers reflect this occurrence, and we do expect these numbers to increase as we reopen our facility to full operations in October, and we do not expect any other interference with our programming for the remainder of the grant term. Our events are slated for later in 2024 and early 2025, so those numbers will be updated following.
