Services provided (Project Title / Short Description)	Create a mural on the facade of LabSports at 1824 9th Street
Services provided (details of agreement)	Fund artists Alisha Nicole Gray and Steven Paul to create a mural on the facade of LabSports at 1824 9th Street as indicated in the rendering below and in accordance with the following budget and description. • Project Budget: Alisha Nicole Gray: $3,000 Steven Paul: $3,000 Materials: $2,000 Total Budget: $8,000 • Preparation: Prepare the wall for the artists work, including any surface repair and cleaning. • Project Dates: Begin the project in July 2024 and complete it over the following month pending weather. • Volunteers: Work with the artist to coordinate volunteer participation in accordance with your organizational policies. The Community Sessions will be orchestrated through online sign ups on www.signupgenius.com Each session will be capped at 5 volunteers maximum and require a waiver form for each participant. The sessions will be approximately 2-3 hours each. • Signage: Work with the City of Roanoke and to develop, and allow the placement of, signage on the mural to recognize the funding sources and promote murals in the city. • Maintenance: Provide normal and customary maintenance of the mural and every part thereof, including, but not limited to, any necessary cleaning, removal of graffiti, and touch up for a period of ten years. The mural may be replaced with another mutually agreed upon design or coverage. • Promotion: Acknowledge the City of Roanoke and the Roanoke Arts Commission with funding through the Percent for Art fund in media releases and promotion. • Celebration: Include Roanoke City Council and Arts Commission (through the arts and cultural coordinator) in any planned celebration of the project. • License to use copyrighted materials and trademark rights: All parties, including both the City and LabSports, have the indefinite right to use images of the signage in normal promotion and marketing. • Reporting: Within a week of project conclusion, complete a simple post-event report at https:// roanokearts.org/event-report/. • Funds will be returned if the project is not completed by May 31, 2025.
