SERVICES PROVIDED – Details of Agreement
Provide a “Neighboring Sounds” activity, as identified in the Arts Connect Neighbors Catalog at the April 13, 2024 “Wasena Bridge Bonanza,” in the Wasena neighborhood center at the 1100 block of Main Street, SW.
Produce a fully mastered audio production that tells the story of your place through the sounds and stories of neighbors to celebrate the Wasena bridge and its role in the life of the neighborhood, aligning the project with the goals of the neighborhood.

Guide the neighborhood in potential uses of the final recording.

Recognize funders in the final products, media releases, advertising, stage announcements, programs, and any other forms of activity to include use of the partner logos and/or the phrase, “This activity is provided through the Arts Connect Neighbors program with funding from the City of Roanoke and the National Endowment for the Arts.”
In the event of event cancellation, the project resources will be used for a rescheduled neighborhood event, or, if that is not possible, for another event entirely, as agreed upon by the City of Roanoke and the artist.
Funds will be returned if the project is not completed by May 31, 2025.

For the funding the creation of new original work, artists must agree to the Terms and Conditions (above) around ownership of work created for the City. This does not apply to the presentation or exhibition of exisiting work.
