Jane Gabrielle partnered with Community School to undertake Roanoke’s first Singing Tree. This international program, developed by artist Laurie Marshall, engages people in a fun process that focuses on unity through a creative process. 108 murals have been made by over 21,000 people from 52 countries.

Jane Gabrielle is a freelance writer and visual and performing artist residing in Southwest Virginia. She has taught art in Roanoke City and for C.A.F.E. She has exhibited her work and music throughout the South. She toured for over ten years with her all original folk rock band RADAR ROSE. She recently completed a BA in socially engaged art and is a very active member of the Roanoke community, using her art to engage, empower, and connect.
