UKESTRA: Join the Musical Fun of the Adult Ukulele Orchestra – All Skill Levels Welcome!

UKESTRA fosters a vibrant community of like-minded individuals who come together to celebrate life, sing with gusto, and enjoy the camaraderie of music-making while exercising their minds and fingers. It’s a unique opportunity to build neighborhood connections and grow community through music.

A five-week music course held in your neighborhood, the hour-long classes are designed for adults with limited-to-no musical experience and led by ukulele enthusiast Simone Paterson. UKESTRA provides a stress-free, non-judgmental environment in which members learn to play the ukulele and popular songs while exploring basic music principles. Five loaner ukuleles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for the term of the classes.

Participants: Five to 15 adult participants, provided that at least 10 people have their own ukuleles
Ages: Adults
Value: $2,000.00
Requirements: Please provide an indoor space with chairs for two hours for each session: One hour total for setup and takedown and one hour for music lesson and rehearsal over a five-week period. Evening or weekend hours are preferred.
