Walls that Unite – Family

FAMILY
Acrylic on panel
10’x10’

I wanted to represent family as in all people, as we are all connected as human beings on this earth and should care about each other as such. It depicts the theme “family” as represented by multiple families under one family tree all bound by our common nature as human beings.  It depicts the theme “family” as represented by multiple families under one family tree all bound by our common nature as human beings.

My name is Addison Cammer.  I have three children with my husband Matthew.  We live in a cabin on a dead end dirt road with some chickens and dogs outside of Fincastle, VA.  I have always loved to create, and studied art in upstate NY, where I am originally from.  I met my husband who is from North Carolina in the Caribbean where we were both living in 2007, while I was bartending, bird training, and nannying.  Roanoke is a beautiful city.  The people have been friendly, the streets are clean, the greenway is an absolutely wonderful place to spend time and be inspired by the natural beauty of the area, the blue ridge mountains views, hiking trails, and kayaking the river is always awe inspiring.
